The "Benefit for Nepal" Compilation was created in response to the tragic earthquakes that took place in Nepal on April 25th and May 12th, in which more than 8,000 people died. The devastating quakes have left thousands injured and in need of help. The Women’s Foundation of Nepal is a non-profit and non-governmental organization that is currently working to bring immediate emergency relief to Nepal and they are seeking donations to aid their efforts. In an effort to raise money and awareness for the cause, 25 Independent Record Labels from all over the world have come together to release the “Benefit for Nepal” Compilation featuring 50 artists contributing songs. The music is from a variety of different genres and many of the tracks are previously unreleased. The Compilation is available now, as a "Name Your Price" Download at benefitfornepal.bandcamp.com, and 100% of the money raised will be donated directly to the Women’s Foundation of Nepal.
